Elizabeth is a recent Mowat graduate and first year member of the CCRA, holding the position of secretary as of October 2018. She was raised in the Centennial community and has actively volunteered at community events over the past years such as, the West Rouge Family Day event, Port Union Winterfest, and the Charlottetown Winter Fair. As well as spending several years working with the Leading to Reading program with the Toronto Public Library, and the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
Elizabeth has been working closely with the Port Union Youth Council for three years, aspiring to promote youth involvement in the community. She assists the council with organizing initiatives to help engage youth in Centennial and give back to the community. Including activities such as care packages for women’s homeless shelters, bake sales and community open mic nights.
In her spare time she enjoys swimming, reading and binge watching Law and Order SVU
