For over 50 years the CCRA has been actively involved in bringing the community together with volunteers just like you.
CCRA past president Jeff Forsyth and vice-president
Kathy Rowe received City of Toronto awards on
November 17, 2016 for their volunteer work.
The CCRA organizes and sponsors a great number of Special Events, including annual events such as Winterfest, Heritage Day Parade, Summer Concert Series and Earthday, and by being a leading voice representing the Centennial Community in municipal board hearings and pushing for the interest of the community in city projects and improvement plans.
Annual membership campaigns raise thousands of dollars for the CCRA and are possible only because of the efforts of hundreds of Centennial residents like you, who canvass their neighbours year after year. Money raised by the CCRA is used within the Centennial community to sponsor such activities as sports clubs, kids' activities and scholarship awards.
We need your help... If you live in the Centennial Community and can spare a little bit of time, give us a shout. We need canvassers, members to serve on the executive committee, volunteers to deliver the newsletter etc...Contact the CCRA at firstname.lastname@example.org or any member of the executive committee by phone or by email. This is a great way to meet your fellow neighbours and volunteers; and have fun at the same time.
