I joined CCRA in the beginning of 2021 after researching the Centennial Community and I decided I want to connect with others in my neighbourhood and contribute towards creating a stronger and more resilient community. I have lived in this community for my whole life and Centennial is where I have my most dear memories. Having lived here for so long, I decided it’s time to help make a difference and create real and lasting change.
Currently, I am a third year student at the University of Toronto Scarborough campus pursuing an undergraduate specialist degree in Urban studies. Currently at U of T, I am involved with the Health and Wellness department as a Mental Wellness Peer Educator. I am also a Peer Mentor and Executive for PEARS UTSC. PEARS is a new organization at UTSC that provides resources and support to people who have suffered from trauma and sexual violence.
In my free time, I like to drive to new places and look at scenery, as well as spend time with my family and friends. Finally, I enjoy watching NBA basketball and playing it in the summer.
