CCRA President Kathy Rowe asks audience submitted questions to the candidates for city council.
On October 10 at Legion Branch 258, ten of the eleven candidates for ward 25, city of Toronto council answered audience questions. Multiple local issues were addressed including senior housing, Scarborough transportation, school safety, gun control and many more. Also in attendance were TDSB and TCDSB candidates who greeted attendees with campaign literature and answered questions.
CCRA helped to organize this event along with other local community associations. If you couldn’t make it and want to know more about those wanting to represent you on Toronto City Council and on the school boards, read their biographies and/or view an edited video of the debate (link below) to help make your decision in this eventful election.
