Beaver Scouts really enjoyed the activities at their Pokémon-themed camp in March.

2nd Highland Creek Beaver Scouts had a winter camp at Camp Samac, the local Scout Camp in Oshawa, at the beginning of March. Even though there wasn’t any snow for the camp, we had a blast enjoying the weather and our Pokémon-themed camp.

The beaver scouts had the option of spending the entire weekend, one night or just coming for the day. One of the day campers had so much fun during the day that before dinner he wanted to stay and spend the night.

The beaver scouts throughout the weekend were on a Pokémon hunt collecting them for their Pokedex. Some other activities that were a huge hit were Pokémon Memory Game, Pin the Tail on Charizard, and Pokémon Bingo with Pokémon Ball poke prizes.

On Saturday afternoon we explored Camp Samac and played at the obstacle course, bouldering wall and other outdoor activities.

We would like to thank the CCRA for their generous donation to make this camp possible. We would also like to thank Joanna from Rouge Kitchen for the amazing mac & cheese.
