Congratulations to Shaganaa Gunarajan who won our CCRA award in June! The award is presented by the community association every year to a graduating student at Mowat who shows a passion for the preservation of our environment and an exceptional enthusiasm for volunteering.
Shaganaa stated: “I have always enjoyed volunteering, both for the joy it provides for others, but moreover for the joy it gives me!” She heads off to Toronto Metropolitan University to study civil engineering this month. “I am excited to join clubs and councils that will help bring the community closer together,” she added.
We wish Shaganaa much success as she embarks on her first year of post-secondary education.
