Happy 2018 everyone!

I hope that each of you enjoyed a joyful holiday season surrounded by family and friends. To those of you who made a resolution this year, I wish you the best of luck in achieving your goals. This year, I plan to spend more time with my family and more time enjoying the outdoors.

To the members of the Centennial community who spent their holiday season ensuring the rest of us were able to safely enjoy ourselves, particularly the nurses, emergency services personal, transportation professionals and members of the hospitality and services industry, I would like to extend a sincere thank you!

On January 13, my team and I hosted our annual New Year’s Levee at Cardinal Leger Catholic School. The levee is always a highlight on our constituency office calendar as it gives the members of my team the opportunity to connect with new residents and reconnect with some familiar faces from our community.  After listening to your comments about 2017 and your suggestions as to how we can make 2018 a great year for our community and our country, I can say with certainty that I am delighted to head back to Ottawa on January 29, and discuss your feedback with my fellow Members of Parliament.

For those of you who would like to meet my team and I, we will be joining the Centennial community at the upcoming Port Union Winter Festival on Saturday, January 27th.  Please stop by our booth to say hello and feel free to ask us any questions you may have about the federal government services we provide. If you are unable to join us at the Winter Festival, I invite you to contact my office at (416) 283-1414 or Gary.Anand@parl.gc.ca and share your ideas, ask about how we can assist you, or about our upcoming events! I wish you all the best for a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2018!
