Working hard to deliver for the people of Scarborough
I hope you and your families are doing well and enjoying the wonderful fall season!
I want to start by thanking you all for the many kind messages I’ve received over this past month. Your well wishes and thoughtful feedback have been very valuable to me and my entire team. We are working very hard at Queen’s Park to deliver for the people of Scarborough!
Honouring and Remembering our Veterans
During this time of year as we see our community filled with people wearing poppies, we reflect on the meaning of Remembrance Day, and the great men and women in this country who laid down their lives to defend the freedom we enjoy today. It is hard to imagine how so many young people made such an ultimate sacrifice to protect our way of life and the values that make Canada what it is today. In remembering them, we honour the continued service of those within the Canadian Armed Forces who promote peace abroad.
I am proud to have a strong relationship with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 258 in Highland Creek that never fails to serve our veterans and their families.

Supporting Fernie Youth Services in Scarborough
I am proud that our government is supporting the vital work of Fernie Youth Services through the Ontario Trillium Foundation. I had the opportunity to spend some time with the amazing staff and volunteers at this organization in Scarborough–Rouge Park that is providing opportunities for underprivileged youth in our community.
