The Timneys team takes a family selfie at the “Scouts Apple Day” challenge. This team came second in the game and won $500. The team consisted of Brandon and Sarah and their children, Vivienne (8), Bernadette (6), Malcolm (4) and Alphonso (2).
The CCRA Community Challenge on October 18 and 19 was a huge hit with participants. The association’s community events coordinator Heather Lemieux and her committee worked hard to organize this event to celebrate CCRA’s 75th anniversary.
The app-based game had teams competing for cash prizes by zipping around the neighbourhood answering questions and taking fun photos. There were 54 challenges and teams were really creative in their responses.
“The event was an absolute blast,” Heather said, “with 110 outstanding
teams showing off their creativity! I had the pleasure of chatting with many participants who were having
the time of their lives.” The event was an amazing way to commemorate CCRA’s 75 years!
Thank You!
