Latest development:

The contractor has completed the installation of all hydro poles between Island Road and Lawson Road.

Upcoming Work:

On the week of January 22, the focus shifted southward where crews will be completing the pole relocation on the west side from Lawson Road to Lawrence Avenue East. During this phase of work there will be small rolling closures within the designated work zone. Rolling closures will be reinstated by the end of each day.

Adam’s Creek Excavation:

In preparation for the retaining wall installation, excavation work at Adam’s Creek was scheduled to start the week of January 22 (weather permitting).

During this phase of work crews may require a partial lane closure at the location of Adam’s Creek.

Traffic and pedestrian access will be maintained to minimize inconvenience to residents and businesses in the vicinity. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times within the construction zone. TTC bus routes will continue to operate during construction. Travel impacts during the winter months include one lane northbound and an additional southbound lane from Island Road to Lawson Road.
