Community is what it’s all about
By Kathy Rowe
Congratulations to the CCRA on its 75th anniversary! Here’s to 75 years of community activism, community caring and community dedication. I find it difficult to find the words that would fully describe this special milestone for a community association such as ours. Over the years, there have been so many incredible volunteers who have worked tirelessly to build and uphold our strong and beautiful community.
Community is what it is all about. From the very beginning, CCRA has been bringing residents together to bolster a sense of community. This is a special place to call home, to be proud of and to celebrate. CCRA has fought hard and played hard to bring this community to where it is today. How fortunate we are to be living in such a thriving area where a strong association exists to protect and preserve what is right and what is essential for all of us. All I can say is, here is to another 75 years of CCRA leadership in Centennial.
Our celebration is just around the corner. We hope you, your families and neighbours will team up and play the CCRA Community Challenge game. The game will launch at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 18 and continue until 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 19. Please take a look at the full-colour centre pullout section for more information about how to play the game. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook @ccranews. Our website, ccranews.com/challenge will also give you clear steps on how to play.
