Particpants received a camp crest
We had a virtual weekend camp with an Around the World theme. We virtually travelled all over the world, we danced in Africa, made Chinese lanterns, learned map and compass skills, and hiked with our families. We baked bread and the youth cooked their own meals and had a virtual campfire singsong. We also had a virtual Cub Car Rally, finished our Scout trucks, and completed our Great 8 Challenge learning many outdoor skills.
We are ending our weekly meetings in mid-June and look forward to some Scouting activity (online) during the summer.
We thank everyone for supporting our recent popcorn fundraiser. This support helps with our programming cost for guest presentations and meeting supplies. Each month the youth receive porch packages of supplies to be used for the upcoming meetings.
