Mark your calendars for the July Sunday Summer Concert series. CCRA, WRCA and WRSRA are pleased to bring musical entertainment to you on July 6, 13 and 20. There will be two new bands in the lineup this year and we are really excited to bring them to this series.

On July 6, Fossil Fire will be performing. Fossil Fire is a local pop and classic rock band that first performed at the Port Union Waterfront Festival back in 2018. Since then they have played many venues such as the Royal Canadian Legion, the Glasgow Rangers Club and other local festivals.

This band consists of six members who have a passion for pop and rock songs from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. They refer to themselves as professionals by day and passionate musicians by night. Fossil Fire covers a wide range of artists such as Queen, The Tragically Hip, The Eagles, Bryan Adams and Shania Twain.

On July 13, The Swing Junkies will be on our stage. The Swing Junkies have been performingaround Toronto for 25 years. This group of part-time musicians began playing rock back in the late ’80s. Over the years, the band members shifted their interests and eventually began playing jazz and then swing. With smooth vocals, the Swing Junkies have settled into this swing style with passion.

On July 20, the final concert will be performed by Port United. This local band is adored by many Centennial area residents. Port United continues to pack the house year after year with their covers of pop and reggae music. They will get you up dancing the night away!

We hope you will bring your families, your neighbours, your friends and your lawn chairs. Come for the experience, the treats at intermission, but mostly come for the music! There is something for everyone.

All shows will perform two sets with an intermission and they will begin at 7 p.m. All shows are rain or shine.
