It is heart wrenching to watch the COVID-19 virus take a devastating toll on the residents and staff of our long-term care homes. Recognizing the need for immediate help, the Centennial Community and Recreation Association (CCRA) has launched a community fundraising campaign in support of the Tony Stacey Centre, our local long-term care facility.
We are asking for your help with this. GIVE TODAY and your donation to the Tony Stacey Centre will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the CCRA!*
A donation of $25 becomes $50 and $250 becomes $500! A matched gift doubles the impact of your contribution to this critical campaign to keep the Tony Stacey Centre residents and staff safe.
Located on Lawson Road, the not-for-profit centre is home to 100 residents and more than 20 staff members. It is the only veterans’ long-term care facility that accepts non-serving spouses of veterans, non-overseas veterans, veterans of post-Korea conflicts and peacekeepers.
Right now the Tony Stacey Centre needs our help to continue keeping staff and residents free of COVID-19. Funds raised will be used to purchase 10 Point-of-Care kiosks and other essential supplies. The POC kiosks will make documentation easier and safer and will give staff more time for the important work of providing personal care for residents.
THANK YOU for supporting those who served to keep our country safe.
*CCRA will match donations up to a maximum of $10,000
