These Grade 6 students at Centennial Road School showed their joyful enthusiasm for the fun and freedom of summer in this photo taken on the last day of school in June 1975.
John Gallop, the student on crutches, remembers he was positioned about 10 feet in front of the group who where directed to jump when they got to him. Notice the CCRA T-shirt worn by the boy at the left of the photo and just behind him, wearing sunglasses was Bruce Geddes, the Grade 6 teacher. Mrs. Ruth Banks, principal at Centennial Road can be seen standing to the far right.
