The Scouts will once again be holding a huge recycling fundraiser as part of Earth Day on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at West Rouge Community Centre, 270 Rouge Hills Dr.

Vehicles will only be able to enter along Rouge Hills Dr. from the north and make a right turn into the parking lot. Cars will not be permitted to enter from the south. Upon leaving the parking lot, cars may go either way.

There will be a drive-through and drop-off location, and small items will be collected at the entrance.

List of Recyclables:

E‐waste (cell phones, tablets), batteries (including car and disposable batteries), broken or unwanted electronics (TVs, VCRs, computers, fax machines, monitors, printers, stereos), scrap metal, wire, Christmas lights, appliances, used clothing, ties, yarn, luggage, shoes, fabric, bedding, blankets, linens, draperies, belts and purses.

There will also be a bottle drive for returnable beer and alcohol cans and bottles.

For the safety of the volunteers, no paint, chemicals, fluorescents or tires will be collected.
