TCDSB Trustee Garry Tanuan

The dedicated staff at TCDSB continue to work with all levels of government to respond to the requirements for a safe return to in-person learning. As the pandemic continues, busy hands have been hard at work behind the scenes to support our communities.

Philippine Consul General

On December 23, I had the privilege of escorting Student Trustees Keith Baybayon and Stephanie De Castro to the office of Philippine Consul General Orontes V. Castro. It is the first time the TCDSB has had two of its students serving on the Board of Trustees who are of Filipino descent. The topic of discussion was the possible collaborations with the Consul General’s office in expanding the propagation of the Philippine national language among the young generation of Filipino Canadians in TCDSB-run schools.
